Alan was my best friend since grade school. He was truly my brother from another mother. I was honored to be there with his wife and stepson when he passed. He will be missed.
So sorry to hear about Alan. Sometimes when I was late walking to school he'd come by on his motorcycle and always pick me up and give me a lift. He was a funny guy and I also remember his obsession with The Monkeys.
