In Memory

Robert W Beardsley

Reunion Committee received information from Phil Horkin on 8/20/2018 ~ Classmate: Robert W. Beardsley: "Apparently Bob died unexpectedly. I was a work associate/friend but lost touch when I moved away from the Denver area. Bob was a very kind person with a pleasant personality. He worked for Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin for many years (~34) before retiring. I could not find a published obituary [Admin note - see below], but was informed by several others who knew him as well."

On 8/22, we received family confirmation from Don Beardsley: "Unfortunately this is true, he died 8/16/18 from complications of a recent illness, very suddenly and unexpectedly. He was 68 years old (born in 1950), class of 1968. He was living in Littleton, CO.  Obituary just arranged today, so will appear in this coming Sunday in the Denver Post, but a more complete obit is online at Newcomerdenver.com.  I am his only surviving relative, his brother Dan (class of 1970) - Dan Beardsley (dobeardsley@msn.com)"

We were all shocked and grieved to hear of Bob's sudden passing; we were so hoping to see him in November.  Such a nice guy!  Our sympathy and condolences to his brother Don, and to all family and friends of our classmate ~  Pat Lydiard Barga for the SHS-SHS '68 Reunion Committee.
