Allyn was beautiful and full of spark. One day as school let out, Allyn exclaimed loudly that someone had hit her parked car and left the scene. Any teenager with their own car, realized or dreamed of, immediately felt her shock and dismay. Her words were "My car has been SMUSHED!!! SMUSHED!!!" Her tone and choice of words were so endearing she drew a crowd of concerned support. She taught me something that day - grace and humor under pressure is a wondrous thing to behold. Thank you Allyn.
