In Memory

Tammy Bouton

From the Scranton High School Class of 1991 Yearbook:

"IN MEMORY OF TAMMY BOUTON

When we first met Tammy Bouton, we were all in 6th grade.  Tammy was a quiet girl, but a great listener.  She never put anyone down, she always tried to cheer them up and she never let her illness stop her.

Tammy was a very strong person.  She carried a great burden few people knew about.  Even when she would miss months of school, Tammy would never give up.  She would come back and keep right on working.  To her friends, Tammy was fun to be with and considerate of others' feelings.

Everyone will miss Tammy but she will be remembered when we see a beautiful red rose or the sun setting at twilight because these are just a few of the special things that remind us of her.

Anyone who knew Tammy has been blessed with the experience of knowing a person who had the courage and determination to live her life the best she could.

Tammy will always hold a special place in all our hearts.
