Roma is correct! Bruce Wolfenden was one of my best friends. He was killed in an auto accident in California in 1963 or 1964, I don't remember exactly. Bruce and I were friends from the time he moved here from Canada in the 2nd grade. We used to go swimming at the old Coleman pool in Lincoln Park and go on long bike rides around Vashon Island. Once we rode to Bellvue and back. On graduation night he and John Rafert, Roger Schustead, and I drove to Ginko Petrified Forrest at Vantage, Wa. just because. Bruce went to the U of W and was in the Air Force ROTC. He worked at Boeing in the Photograpy department until his death. My wife and I miss Bruce a great deal. He was a great friend.
