Heather was one of my first "school" friends. I think we were in each other's class all throughout elementary school except our sixth grade year. Then, of course, all throughout junior high and high school. My fondest memories of Heather occurred in elementary school at Memphis Elementary. Those of you who went to Memphis probably remember the "pretend" weddings we used to have beside that old tree in the playground. Well, Heather was always my "bride". :)
Yeah Pierce, I remember Heather well from 6th grade when she started at Henryville. I’m thinking she married Gary Oaks after recess in the fall of 92 or 93. Kidding aside, Heather was a sweet girl and had a genuine personality I’ll never forget. I saw Heather occasionally after high school as our employers were side by side in Jeff. It was a tragic and sad day indeed. She will be greatly missed!
Yeah Heather was my best friend growing up. She was such a great girl. There are so many things I could say about her, but no one would understand. It's just a very sad thing that she's gone. I miss her a lot and I think about her all the time.
