Robert Neal "Puny" Coleman

November 20, 1949 — March 12, 2017

Robert Neal Coleman was born November 20, 1949 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Clifford and Mary Sue Jernigan Coleman.

He was united in marriage to Lisa Hill on October 29, 1989.

Most of his friends and family affectionately called him "Puny."

Robert Neal "Puny" was second and third shift supervisor at General Electric. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer, bowled in a league and coached his sons little league teams. He was a fan of football especially the Tennessee Volunteers and watched Bonanza as well as other westerns. He was passionate about cooking and creating unique dishes. One of his childrens favorite was the "hot buttered ham and cheese." He was a member of the Court Avenue Cumberland Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Robert Neal "Puny" departed this life on March 12, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 3 Months, 20 Days. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Coleman of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Allison Smalley and husband Trae of Martin, TN; two sons, Jonathan (Jon) Coleman of Selmer, TN, Dustin Coleman of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Sandra Robinson and husband Montie of Selmer, TN, Linda Woolrich of Counce, TN; brother-in-law, Jimmy Null of Selmer, TN; in-laws, James and Beverly Smith of Selmer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Null.
