Obituary for Darrel Treece of Selmer, Tennessee

Timothy "Darrel" Treece was born September 24, 1948 in Leapwood, TN the son of the late Clyde Sherman and Inez Harris Treece. 

He was united in marriage to Marie Elizabeth Clevely on May 4, 1991.

Mr. Treece served his country honorably and proudly for 26 years in the United States Air Force. While serving in the military, he traveled throughout the states and world. He did two tours in Vietnam, served in Thailand, and two tours in Korea. He was the crew chief for the C-130 airplanes. When he retired, Senior Master Sergeant Treece, returned back to his roots McNairy County. His second career was with the State of Tennessee as probation and parole officer for 18 years. 

Mr. Treece was an active member of Ramer Baptist Church, a lifetime member of Selmer Golf & Country Club, and VFW. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying golfing, fishing and hunting. His team of choice was the TN Vols. The greatest enjoyment was time he spent with his 6 grandsons and great grandson. 

Mr. Treece departed this life on January 7, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife, Marie Treece of Selmer, TN; two sons, Thomas Court and wife Amy, Todd Court and wife Kristie; a sister, Jelva (Treece) Brooks of Selmer, TN; a brother, Douglas Winslow Treece and wife Gwelda of Selmer, TN; six grandsons, Adam Court, Joshua Court and wife Danielle, Jadan Court, Alexander Court, Austin Court, Avery Court; one great grandson, Corbyn Court; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Treece was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Doyle Treece, Darwin Treece, and Hoyt Treece.
