SENECA, S.C. — Sandra Gibson Newton, 46, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 2 at 1 p.m. at the Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Owen officiating, with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends today, May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  The family will be at the home of Joe and Fay Gibson, 379 Snow Creek Road, Seneca.

She is survived by her husband Clarence L. Newton of the home; two sons Chad Gibson and wife Jamie and grandson Austin of Seneca and Clarence Newton, II of Michigan; two daughters Laura N. Wiles and Crystal Newton, both of Michigan; her parents Joe and Sarah Fay Kelly Gibson of Seneca; two brothers Roger Gibson of Six Mile, S.C. and Stanley Gibson of Seneca, and four grandchildren.

Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home of Seneca is in charge of arrangements.
