Obituary for Mr. Stephen Lane Nichols

Stephen Lane Nichols, 62, of Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. 

A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Nichols was the son of the late Verner E. and Betty B. Nichols. He worked in manufacturing and was a member of Bountyland Baptist Church. Mr. Nichols was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Clemson Tigers. 

Mr. Nichols is survived by his step-daughter: Denise Smith; brothers: Eddie Nichols, Wayne Nichols (Lynn), and Joey Nichols (Glenda); sister: Sue Blackwell (Gary); step-grandson: Cody Smith; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his fiancée: Dale Owens; and sister-in-law: Susan Nichols. 

A visitation will be held from 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Davenport Funeral Home.
