I attended church with Ricky during our younger years. We dated for a while in 1977. He married and moved to West Virginia where he passed away in the 90's with a liver condition. He has two daughters.
Ricky was such a good guy...Not just a friend, but a dear family member...He moved to West Virginia...He had many problems and missed home more than you could ever imagine...His wife refused to move...He started drinking and things went downhill after that...Although he was able to fight many battles, this was a battle that he lost...He was an only child and left his Mother and Father with a broken heart that can never be mended...I Love You Ricky and Remember Only The Good Times...I'll See You In Heaven One Day...
We all have our crosses to bear and troubles that we have to live with but it will never change how we feel about someone. Ricky was a very good person and even though we did not socialize much I knew who he was and what kind of person he was. It is sad when someone is taken before they have lived thier lives to the fullest but now he is at PEACE and FREE from the demons that haunted him and the pain that he had to suffer and endure. My heart goes out to the ones he left behind for they are the one's that miss him the most.
