Obituary for Mrs. Sarah "Sallie" Wigington

Sarah P. “Sallie” Wigington, 60, wife of Kent A. Wigington, of 2662 Fox Run Road, Seneca, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Cottingham Hospice House. 

A native of Seneca, SC, Sallie was the daughter of the late Carl Dixon Plyler and Sarah Holleman Plyler. She retired from the School District of Oconee as a Coordinator and Librarian. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. 

In addition to her husband, Sallie is survived by her daughter: Savannah Bock (Stefan) of Seneca; sons: Hunter Wigington of Rock Hill, SC; Noah Wigington of Atlanta, GA; brothers: Carl Plyler of Cary, NC; Whit Plyler of Liberty, SC; and Bundy Plyler of Lancaster, SC. 

Graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Davenport Funeral Home.
