Mrs. Cunningham is probably the MOST influential person in my high school years. She was a wonderful person with a sweet spirit, meaningful advice, and honest values. I loved her and was so sad to hear of her passing.

Oh, I am so sad....Mrs. Cunningham was a blessing in my life. She was an encourager to us all. I remember bringing my son up to the school after he was born and she said...If I had him... I would just sit and kiss his jaws all day long. What an example she was to us all.

Mrs. Cunningham is one of the biggest encouragements that I ever had at SHS. During some of my- well, family difficulties, let's say- She would find me outside in the hall between classes, just to say hi or give me a hug. She made me think that I was capable of anything. No matter how simple or grand my goals were, nothing could stop me if I only would stick it out and never give up. God bless you Carol Cunningham.
