Obituary for Mrs. Donna Jean Cantrell Johnson

Donna Jean Cantrell Johnson, 64, wife of James Leroy Johnson, of 401 Dalton Road, Seneca, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at her residence.

A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of Sara Beth Ford Cantrell of Seneca and the late Joseph Lester Cantrell. She was an Elementary School Music Teacher for the School District of Oconee County. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Seneca Baptist Church for 54 years and involved with the Boy Scouts of America.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son: Justin Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; her daughter: Jennifer Reid of Landrum; sisters: Deborah Strait of Irmo, SC and Amy Bowers of Six Mile.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Johnson is predeceased by a sister, Catherine Porter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Seneca Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Seneca Baptist Church prior to the service.
