Angeleen Perry (Cleveland) graduated from Seneca High in 1976 after entering the three-year program, so much of her school career was also spent with the Class of 1977. After graduation, she attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, but she eventually left school in order to take care of her young son. Angeleen always enjoyed learning and the academic experience, and she never had a doubt that she would someday return to school to complete her degree. Unfortunately her return to school was delayed when both her parents fell seriously ill. Angeleen gladly spent much time, energy, and love helping take care of her parents until their passage. Eventually she enrolled at Central (now 'Southern') Wesleyan and was well on her way toward obtaining a degree with honors and pursuing her dream of a career in higher education, when, in 1993, she was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. Angeleen passed away in 1995 after a courageous battle. Angeleen is survived by her beloved husband Hosea, her son Tyrone, her daughters Kendra and Christina, her granddaughters Tianna and Karah, and her siblings Cindy and Herman. Angeleen is greatly missed by us all, but she lives on in all our hearts.

All of my memories of Angeleen are very good.  She was very fun to be around.  I miss seeing her beautiful smile.  Her girls have grown to be very beautiful.  Her son was a close friend with my son Jamar when they were growing up.  He has grown to be very handsome & is always very polite when I see him.  She has been missed!
