Beni was the producer of our 20 years of award-winning TV commercials and the 3 LP Musical Heritage box set, Popular Music In Jacksonian America (I was composer/arranger/conductor).  When we moved to rural coastal Northern California, she became an admissions counselor at Humboldt State University.  She was especially loved by our NCAA II national champion softball team, many of whom she helped recruit.  Here she is with the coach, Frank Cheek.

Beni left behind a host of people who adored her; she was a rare example of intellectual brilliance and warmth.
