I remember the year we lost dear Stu...December 16, 1967... From a tragic car accident near Van Aken Blvd...he was a dear friend of mine, and always wanted to be a pilot...he had a wonderful personality, and blue eyes like Paul Newman...a wonderful guy, always loved, always remembered...RIP dear Stu...always in our hearts...
I remember Stuart well.He sat next to me in homeroom.He would always tell me how many 6 packs of beer he and his other buddies consumed over the weekend,LOL
Ironically, I believe that alcohol had something to do with his passing.I lived right down the street where the accident occured. I swear I could hear hear the sirens blaring as they came to the scene.
When the announcement was made at school on Monday it shocked and saddened me to no end.He was a good kid.I had to stare at that empty seat the whole senior year and every time I looked at it it was spooky.
