JONES, Major "Rocky" E. Jr. 54, born in Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Yellow Springs, Ohio passed away in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday, January 9, 2005. He graduated from Shaker Heights High School, attended Central State University, retired from Kroger Foods, Inc., then held the position as a World-Wide Travel Director. He was preceded in death by his father, Major E. Jones and is survived by his children, Eli, Danielle and Asiya Jones (and expecting grandchild Julietta); mother, Mrs. Cecile E. Jones; brother and sister, Ronald L. Jones and Sandra J. Mobley; grandchildren, Eli Jr. and Illiana Cecilia Jones; nieces and nephews, Dana Bullock, David Jones, Bill and Dorian Mobley and Aubre Jones. Also survived by the mother of his children, Sherry Sapier and daughter-in-law, Josephina; as well as numerous relatives and many special friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the BELTON FUNERAL HOME, 422 East Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, Ohio. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12 Noon until the time of services. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Jones.
