PATRICIA GLICKMAN

Patricia “Patty” Glickman (née Copeland), an executive in the banking industry, died Aug. 5 at age 57. After being diagnosed with cancer, Mrs. Glickman became an inspiration to and dedicated supporter of other cancer patients. She received the Susan G. Komen BMW Drive for the Cure award.

In 2002, Mrs. Glickman began a lucrative hand-knit accessory Glickman

business, designing and knitting couture scarves that were sold in women’s specialty shops. She collected memorabilia and loved to cook and entertain family and friends. A graduate of Shaker Heights High School and the University of Cincinnati, she was a member of The Temple-Tifereth Israel, The Gathering Place, Mt. Sinai Auxilliary, and Women’s American ORT.
