I am very sorry to read of Mark's loss. My sympathy to his family and friends

Sorry to hear about Reese. I didn't know. We would sit around and talk about track, basketball, and sports in general. He would come by the house, and my dad would entertain us with stories, running along side the great Jessie Owens, at East Tech High School. He's the one that got me in the pool at Shaker. A frightening indoor site, walking from the men's gym, to the women's gym. I'll always remember you, MARK. Safe passage into the next life.

I too attended Alexander Hamilton before moving to Shaker. Indeed, Mark was one of the "coolest dudes" at Hamilton. He may have been voted "best dressed" in the superlative section of the yearbook. He continue that tradition at Shaker. I most recently saw him a couple of years ago in the Cedar Center Shopping Plaza. He still called me by my full name, Roderick, instead of Rod.  He will be missed.
