3 p.m. and 4 p.m.     Tour of the New High School

**No reservations necessary. Just show up.**

**Anyone is welcome. Bring your kids, other family members, or friends.**

Meet at the new Shakopee High School for a tour with Principal Jim Murphy. The new school is located at 100 West 17th Avenue (17th Avenue and Co Rd 79). Take the new Highway 169 to the Co Rd 17/Marschall Road exit. Go south to 17th Avenue. Turn right on 17th and go a mile. The new Shakopee High is on the left.

Each tour takes 1 hour, so come at 3 p.m. or come at 4 p.m.

 

6 p.m.     All Grade Gathering Poolside at Canterbury Inn

**No reservations necessary. Just show up.**

"Come and Hang with the Class of 83." All Grade Gathering open to anyone anybody knows from any grade. Invite classmates from other years to the new High School tour if you want.

Plan a golf outting with friends beforehand, or plan to hit the casino afterwards. If you're looking for a golf partner, post a message to this website's Message Forum.

Noon     Family Picnic at Memorial Park

**No reservations necessary. Just show up.** 

After the high school tour, come to Memorial Park for a picnic. Bring your family, meet other people's kids, walk by the river, play frisbee, etc. and pack a lunch.

Bring your own food and beverages. Also, bring a yard game if you want.

 (No alternative activity planned in the event of rain.)

 

6:30 p.m.     The Official 25-Year Reunion Dinner

**Reservations Required! Click the "Reunion Dinner" link on the left.**

Classmates and Significant Others at Dangerfields (the former Shakopee House). Stay afterwards for music in the bar area downstairs. For out-of-state classmates, Minnesota is now smoke free in all bars and restaurants.

$25.69 dinner per person (includes a dinner buffet, dinner roll, and dessert, tax and tip...other beverages are separate). Please click on the "Dangerfields Dinner" link on the left to reserve and pay for your dinner tickets.

Attire: business casual

 

9:00 p.m.     Official 25-Year Reunion Class Photo

Whether you attend the dinner or not, come by at 9 p.m. for an official Class of 1983 official 25-year reunion photo. We'll take them digitally and send them out over email from this website after the reunion weekend.

12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m.     Brunch With Our Teachers at Turtles

End the reunion weekend with a late buffet brunch with our former teachers at Turtle's party room at First Avenue and Lewis Street downtown. Who will show up? Mr. Olson? Mrs. Ohnstad? Mr. Kugath? Mrs. Cook? You'll have to come for brunch to find out.

$12.50 per person for a buffet brunch includes brunch, coffee, tax, and tip. Other beverages are separate. Please click on the "Turtles Brunch" link on the left to reserve and pay for your brunch tickets.

(We have the room until 4 p.m. for anyone that would like to stay late.)

 

 

 2 p.m.     Walk Around Downtown Shakopee

**No reservations necessary. Just show up.**

(Hang out at Turtle's or Arnie's in case of rain.)

After brunch, walk around downtown Shakopee with classmates and patronize local businesses--new and old. Valley Sports, Eagle Pets, Bill's Toggery...they're all alive and well.

Then, walk by the new library (closed on Sundays), or hike across First Avenue to the new Huber Park and ampitheater. There are now trails all along the Minnesota river. If you haven't been to Shakopee in a while, you won't believe how nice downtown looks.

 

4 p.m.     Happy Hour at Arnie's

**No reservations necessary. Just show up.**

Still haven't had enough? OK...finish the evening off at Arnie's Bar at 221 East First Avenue...just down the street from Turtle's.

A special Sunday evening Happy hour has been organized for the Class of 1983 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. with 2-for-1 bottle beer and tap beer.
