Downtown Shakopee Pub Crawl

Friday, August 4th (6 p.m. to Midnight): 

The pub crawl at the 35th reunion was a HUGE HIT, so we are doing it again. Join us for some or all of the stops as we make our way down First Avenue in downtown Shakopee!

Mindfulness/Meditation Practice for Class of 1983 and Friends

Saturday, August 5th (10:30 to 11:30 a.m.): 

Location: ShakRa Yoga & Fitness at 110 1/2 - 1st Ave E, Shakopee

                                 (studio space above Bittner's Bakery)

Looking for some tips or a chance to practice being mindful? Want to clear your head after the pub crawl? Whatever the reason, for our 40th reunion, classmate Dan O'Brien will lead a mindfulness and meditation practice Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m.. Who knows, your bowling game might improve? It will be an hour of exploring various practices: guided meditation, movement and so on to access and embody mindfulness. There will be an opportunity to set a focus for the day or even longer as you wish. It will be by donation in order to cover costs of the studio--right above Bittner's Bakery in Shakopee! (Those interested can stop in for a donut before the session.) Participants can talk about whether we want to go somewhere for lunch afterwards as an option, take a walk in Memorial Park or other.

Suggested Donation: $10-$15 

Main Reunion Event at Shakopee Bowling Alley

Saturday, August 5th (6 p.m. to Midnight): 

We have a fun night planned at Shakopee Bowling Alley (Highway 169 & 41)!

Food: Taco/nacho bar @ $14.95 per person ($16.05 with tax).

Payment: Please pre-pay $16.05 online at https://onlineorder.focuspos.com/8231. Click the Shakopee Indian logo and fill out the information. Your name goes on screen 2. 

Deadline: Please pre-pay by 7/31/23, if possible, to help with planning.

Activities: We will have reserved tables inside and out. There will be live music on the patio, a raffle, use of the sound system for a brief "program," rerserved lanes for bowling, and a lot of outside games like whiffle ball, spike ball, Jenga, volleyball, cornhole, etc.

Should be a great night!!
