Recollections from classmates:

Tommy lived in old Folcroft.  He was one of the small group of us that were sent to Delcroft school in 5th grade, when our teacher resigned part way through the school year to get married.  It was a really new  experience for us.  There were about 15 of us that had been together since kindergarten.  We were split up among the classes already in place at Delcroft.  ~ Gail Wiley Hassel

I think Tom lived on Garfield... his parents were neighbors of mine when I lived there.  ~ Linda Eiserman Newell

Tommy was electrocuted.  I was with him at the time.  So was Steve Warren.  It happened under the railroad bridge headed towards the Jr. High School.  ~ Ken Martin

Tommy was electrocuted near the railroad bridge on Folcroft Ave.  It was very sad.  He was the first person our age that we knew who died.   ~ Gail Wiley Hassel
