NANCY HENKE KONOPASEK

After 32 years of editing textbooks in the Chicago area, I retired. I am author of 17 titles that I keep revised and updated. I am currently an officer of the Lake County Juvenile Court as a Child Advocate (CASA) where I work with abused and neglected children. I also work in grief counseling. I enjoy spending time boating on Lake Michigan with the kids and grandkids.

Attended Kansas State University and University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Graduated with degrees in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Journalism. Have been editing/writing textbooks in Chicago area for 44 years. Still editing books and writing.
