George "Ed" or "Eddie" Klinkenberg

George (Ed) Klinkenberg, 56, Leavenworth, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Tonganoxie Christian Church. Burial will follow in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, KS. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Ed was born March 17, 1955 in Kansas City, KS, the son of George Earl and Delores (Wolff) Klinkenberg. He was a truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport, Kansas City, Kansas. Survivors include; his wife, Linda K. Gratton, of the home; his parents, George and Delores Klinkenberg, Lenexa, KS; one son, Shawn Klinkenberg, Spring Hill, KS; two daughters, Crista Ehrhart, Gladstone, MO, Kaley Pattison, Tonganoxie; two step-sons, Chris and Michael Gratton, Tonganoxie; one step-daughter, Stacy Lewallen, Ozawkie, KS; one brother, Tom Klinkenberg, Bonner Springs, KS; two sisters, June Slocum, Prairie Village, KS, Carol Klinkenberg, Kansas City, KS; and 13 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society , c/o Quisenberry Funeral Home, 604 E 4th Street, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
