James Raymond Bryan

August 2, 1954 ~ October 3, 2012

James Raymond Bryan, 58, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 3, 2012, surrounded by his family at home.  James was born August 2, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Arnold and Anna Bryan. He attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. He was a member of the Painters Local Union #9 and the SAL at Peter Smith American Legion #327.  James was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Charles Bryan. Survivors include his wife, Kathy J. Bryan; son, Randy Bryan, Raytown, Missouri; brother, David Bryan, Garnett, Kansas; and his dog Cricket.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Crossroads Hospice, physicians and staff at Research Medical Center and to all his longtime friends that helped him fulfill his final wishes in the past few months.

Visitation and Memorial Service

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private inurnment will be at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
