It didn't seem like I got to know Mark really well until our senior year. He was one of those individuals who accepted everyone and treated each person with respect. We had a lot of fun in school and I just remember always feeling comfortable around him knowing he was sincere.
I just found a card Mark sent to me when I had my tonsils out, in like 7th grade? trying to cheer me up. He always called me "Bef", and always made me laugh. He was a great friend with a generous heart.
