January 04, 1964 - January 22, 2013 Kevin Joseph Cecil, 49, of Fishers, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Indiana University Partners Methodist Campus in Indianapolis. Born January 4, 1964, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Joseph Melvin and Doris (Banta) Cecil. He married the love of his life, Jammie "Bunny" Brewster on April 26, 2004, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Jourdan Reemer of Indianapolis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willard and Kay Brewster of Anderson; sister-in-law, Jennie Brewster of Indianapolis; very dear family friend, Marilyn Abner of Shelbyville; and his very large circle of close friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kevin graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1982 and in 1986 he received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. He had worked as a salesman for Kraft/Mondelez Global for over 10 years. Kevin was an avid boater and loved going to French Lick Resort to play poker and blackjack. He also leaves behind his beloved basset hound, Monroe. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. A memorial service for Kevin will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with a celebration of his life to follow at Occasions Banquet Hall, 415 E. Hendricks St. in Shelbyville. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, P.O.
