Matt was one of the first people I met when I moved to Sheridan. I can't remember a time when he was not smiling, and usually he was laughing about something. The one memory that popped into my mind when I heard this was of Matt in the Jr. plays as WC Fields. I can picture it like it was yesterday. the other thing I remember was he always seemed to have a shirt that said "Fat Matt" on the back of it. I never saw him that he didn't have time to stop and visit for a moment and catch up on the years since we last saw each other. I'll still remember him as a good friend every time I see a rusty old pickup truck driving through town. Good journey Fat Matt...You shall be missed.

It truely saddens my heart to hear about Matt passing. Matt was truely a good person. Always had a smile, and a kind word to say. Matt you will be missed.

As the years went by Matt and I became better and better friends. The gas station where he worked was the only station I did business with, just because I knew Matt would be there. He was always upbeat and friendly no matter what was going on in his life. He will truly be missed by me and my wife. He made me be a better person for knowing him and for that I am so thankful.

I am so sorry I had not had the pleasure of seeing him and so long. God Bless you Matt!
