Belinda was one of my closes friends growing up. I had just seen her in Wal-mart in the fall of 1988 with her brand new baby that she named "Brian Keith", he was not very old at all. The next things I new she had been killed in the car wreck along with Eddie and her son. It was in February of 1989. I could not bring myself to go to the funeral. I visit the grave every time I am in Sheridan. Her mother has made a beautiful gravesite to go and visit. Belinda was an only child and to have that taken away along with the first grandchild has to be unbearable. Bridget

When I think of elementary school and class parties and room mothers, I think of Belinda Reynolds and her mother. Belinda's mom was ALWAYS active in our grade school events!

I wasn't around Belinda much in junior high or high school, but my memories of her during elementary school are precious.

I remembered Belinda's mother always being in our classrooms too to help out and to bring snacks. She was very devoted to her daughter. I was heartbroken for Belinda's parents especially, because she was an only child.
I knew Eddie's son, E.J, from a previous marriage. E.J.'s mother and I grew up together going to Marlow Baptist Church in Ico. E.J. was a sweet boy. He's all grown up now and I don't think I've seen him since he was very young.
Too sad.

When I think of Belinda, I think back in the 5th grade when I met her. She was so tiny, long blonde hair that curled up on the ends, and her belt had her name on the back. She and I would do backbends on the playground, but she could always out do me, she wouldn't just do a backbend, she would completely flip over! This always amazed me! Through the years, we stayed friends, but didn't have many classed together, but in our Senior year we shared a 2 hour class (Office Training Lab). She and I would compete in who could type the fastest without mistakes, Belinda always won! We sat next to each other. I remember the day she came to school, married, she was so happy! After we graduated I was married 4 mos later, she and Eddie came to my wedding. That was the last time I saw them both. I have visited their grave only twice because it's so upseting for me, to this day. I loved her and Eddie very much and miss them.
