Craig Autrey

William Craig Autrey of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 14, 1969 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of Marilyn Croy Autrey and the late Billy Gene Autrey.

Craig was a 1988 graduate of Sheridan High School and had worked as a supervisor for Centria for over 32 years. He was saved and attended Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in his early years.

He was on the Grant County Ducks Unlimited Board, secretary /treasurer of V&K Hunting Club, a member of the Wild Turkey Federation and the Pine Bluff Bass Club. He has served on the Sheridan Youth Softball League, where he was a very sought after coach, having several perfect seasons. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and collector of coins. He enjoyed spending time with his children and his new grandson.

Craig died Friday, February 21, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 50.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Autrey.

Survivors: wife, Danielle Dube’ Autrey of Sheridan; sons, Taylor Autrey of Sheridan; Brent (Madi) Autrey of Mustang, Oklahoma; daughter, Zoie Autrey of Sheridan; mother, Marilyn Autrey of Sheridan; brothers, Billy Joe Autrey of Camden, Carey and wife Angie Autrey of Sheridan; 1 grandson, Zaven Autrey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, work family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Monday, February 24, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Holmes and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. A time of visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 P.M. until service time.

Craig was caretaker, Vice President and Board Member of Providence Cemetery, the family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the cemetery at 284 Grant 167048, Sheridan, AR 72150.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Rhodes, Greg Tisdale, Brian McElroy, Steven Ward, Scott Morgan, Kyler Hughes, Chris Volner, Michael Gilbert, Ray Vance and Jeff Vance.
