Tanya M. Herring, 30, of Sheridan died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, in Deaconess Medical Center in Billings of natural causes. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Kane Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Goodwin officiating.

Ms. Herring was born June 26, 1972, in Utica, N.Y., to William H. and Sandra (Legacy) Herring. She spent most of her childhood in Dayton. She was a 1991 graduate of Sheridan High School.

She worked as a caregiver in elder care and volunteered at the Big Horn Mountain Eagles Lodge 4169 calling Bingo. She loved her cat, Gizmo, and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her parents, of Sheridan; a brother, Thomas of Cheyenne; a sister, Tina Walker of Fort Collins, Colo.; her grandfather, Shirley Herring of Hobe Sound, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
