Jared Killion (Killion) VIEW PROFILE

Jared Killion (Killion)

Jared Ray Killion was born December 21, 1972 in Laramie Wyoming.
He attended schools in Rock Springs and Sheridan Wyoming, as well as Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
He loved sports and participated in track, basketball, baseball, and cross country track. He also loved fishing, hunting, swimming, football, golf and any other sport whether summer or winter.
In high school he lettered in track, basketball, cross country track and band.
He was extremely talented playing trumpet and was first trumpet in both band and jazz band.
He served a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Honolulu, Hawaii mission, where he touched many lives and was loved by everyone he came in contact with.
He had an amazing gift of drawing people to him and making friends with them. As a friend he was loyal to and stayed in contact with old friends while moving on and finding new ones.
Loving sports as much as he did, he naturally gravitated toward serving youth by working with the Jr. Jazz basketball program, coaching softball teams, and working with Special Olympics.
Jared passed away on July 11, 2016 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Frick Killion and John Kitchen. He is survived by his parents, Ray and Carolyn Kitchen Killion; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer Killion Kaiser and DJ Kaiser; grandmothers, Rosalee Killion Japp and Annie Kitchen; 4 children, Kayla, Scott, Kaden and Taiven; one nephew, Parker; and two nieces, Shaylee and Quiana; and many aunts uncles and cousins.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
