Michael H. Kobielusz, 37, of Sheridan died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in his home. Memorial service is 10 a.m. Monday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery at a later date. Born Oct. 16, 1971, in Wheat Ridge, Colo., to Gary and Cynthia (Kunesh) Kobielusz, he moved with his family to Sheridan as a small child. He grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan and worked several jobs before joining the Wyoming Department of Transportation in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his son, Jordan. He attended First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his son of Carbondale, Colo.; his mother, Cynthia Purcella; a sister, Kara Schreibeis; three grandparents, Howard and Joan Kunesh and John T. Kobielusz, all of Sheridan; and a niece. Memorials may benefit Michael Kobielusz’s son's education fund in care of Kara Schreibeis, Security State Bank, 2070 Coffeen Ave., Sheridan, WY 82801

Alittle about my Brother Mike,
Mike was a very close person in my life and most often refered to him as my brother. Him and I spent a lot of time together in the last few years before his going home to be with God. We never realize just how much somebody is part of our lives until they are gone. Mike and I would talk about 4 times a week and even more right before this took place. What a change in my life it has been over the past two years not to get his phone call on my way home several times a week. Mike will nevery be forgotten in my eyes as I know one day I'll see him again. He wanted a life without problems and without people always wanting more then he had to give. The Man would have gave the shirt off his back if you needed it and thats all he had left. Mike I miss ya Bro and can't wait till I do see you again.God Bless all who knew Mike and hope that those who did know him that he really is in a better place and is watching us now. Don't let life play its game on you. Play your game on life. We can all be winners of life as long as we keep moving forward and never look back.
