David passed away December, 2007.  He was a friend since first grade, when we all ran the neighborhood around Crutchfield Elementary together.

David was the most happy go lucky guy I have ever met.  He was not really very serious about doing the "RIGHT THING", and we didn't!  We laughed a lot and had a lot of fun times.  I remember many, many, many a Friday night smoking pot, drinking beer and driving all over North Texas in David's green firebird. David helped me perfect some of my juvenile actions early on in life.  Most of them I dropped and corrected but David never did.  Al in all David was a good person, just a bit lost.  God rest his soul!

David was always generous. I remember the day I was taking my drivers test for my license and I was so excited and very nervous. I was going to take it in our VW beetle with a manual transmission which I new how to drive but was worried about killing the engine in front of the DPS Officer and getting even more nervous. I was talking to David about it and he said take the test in his new Firebird because it had an automatic and I did and almost flunked the test because the DPS Officer said I almost went over the speed limit. Most of us had very little money in High School but David always did and he was always generous with us. He always offered to take his car and didn't ask for gas money to cruise around and when we were out of money and the late night munchies set in, he said I got it, don't worry about it. David was always a fun time and just a really nice guy.

You are not forgotten friend,

Dudley
