DARLING, Susan Laura
 Susan Laura Darling, of Carrollton, TX, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 after a year-long struggle with lung cancer, surrounded by her family who loved her and will miss her forever. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Zenn Taylor of Dallas, TX, her brother and sister-in-law Clifford and Julie Darling, of Plano, TX, her brother and sister-In-Law, Kenneth and Lorna Darling, of Bedford, TX, her sister Sandy Darling, of Washington State, her stepmother Karen Darling, of Kerrville, TX, her uncles Neil Hazard and Johnathan Hazard, of Maryland, and her nephews Connor Darling of Houston, TX, James Darling, of Addison, TX, Jason Darling, of Austin, TX, Andrew Darling, of Irving, TX, and David Darling. Susan was born September 16th, 1954 in Montgomery, AL to Jocelyn Hazard Darling and Dr. David Henry Darling, who was still in the US Air Force at that time. Susan grew up in Sherman, TX and graduated from Sherman High School in 1972. Over the course of her life, she was a resident of Dallas, TX, Sherman, TX, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL, and for the past 12 years, Carrollton, TX. She was employed at Dalton Medical Corp., of Farmers Branch, TX. Susan's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family during the holidays and at the beach on Padre Island. A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held Sunday, October 15th at 2:00pm, at the Fellowship Hall at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr. Dallas, TX 75248. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.

Did not know Susan extremely well but we were aquainted in H.S.  I saw her at a Fedex counter in Addison a few years ago and we visited for a few minutes.  She was always kind and had a sweet smile.  RIP
