Zoe Ann was my bud all through high school. We played clarinet in the band and got into all kinds of adventures and trouble, LOL, especially with our wild band buddies.
After HS graduation, we were going to go to North Tx State in Denton together, and for some reason I wasn't ready, so stayed home and went to Grayson Cy College my first year. Later went to East Tx State.
Zoe Ann had a great time at college, she flourished and got involved in lots of things, I was so happy for her! But a simple surgery - tonsils - took her life suddenly in her 2nd year at college. So young! Life can be strange and sad ........ she is very missed.
So glad you posted this! Zoe Ann was a wonderful person! She died too soon. Life is so short and fragile. Any operation is serious, even having your tonsils out. I was so shocked to hear that something so simple had taken Zoe Ann's life and at so young an age! I always saw her happy and smiling, never in a bad mood, never a cross word. She is missed.
