Believe it Not!!!!  - next year is the 50th anniversary of graduation and it’s time for the 50th reunion in 2026!

The 2nd planning meeting will be on Thursday August 21st!!!

The meeting will start around 5:30 pm and will be at Shane's on Mansfield Road - 9176 Mansfield Road  - Mansfield at Bert Kouns near Brookshire Grocery Store. Thank you to Shanes for waiving the room fee for us.  We have a large private room that can seat a bunch - we hope you have folks that are interested in helping - please ask them to join us on August 21st .  It will take a village to pull the best darn 50th reunion off next year.  We can do it with help!   Help can take many forms!  We are also looking for sponsors for the event - or ideas for sponsors.

The 1^st Planning Meeting for the 50^th Reunion was held at Shane’s Seafood and BBQ on May 15^th, 2025

This was the first planning meeting so it was mostly about discussing ideas and concerns about the upcoming reunion.

We want our 50^th reunion to be a success so we need to have a huge turnout.  We are currently in the process of reaching out to classmates that we have contact info (big thanks to Kim Cathcart Ringer).  If you stay in touch with any of our classmates, please make sure they know about the reunion.

One of the biggest concerns was cost.  While we would like to keep the cost of attending the reunion to around $75 per person, we know that will not be enough money to pay for the reunion.  We discussed other ways to raise money such as sponsorships, donations, auctions, etc.

We discussed two possible dates for the senior party and reunion:

September 25^th and 26^th, 2026
October 9^th and 10^th, 2026

Locations for the senior party and reunion were discussed. We will be looking into availability and cost.

The reunion is still more than a year away but it is never too soon to save the date.
