Mira was one of my first friends when my family and I moved to the area in 6th grade ... and even though I only lived in Silver Spring for 6 years ~ from Spring Mill Elementary / E. Brooke Lee Jr. High to Northwood, Mira and I became very close friends. We unfortunately lost touch after college.
As I hope everyone that knew her would remember ... Mira was a very kind, gentle, funny, thoughtful, intelligent, talented, creative, loving and generous friend ~ someone you could always count on. She will remain in my heart forever ... and I will miss her smile, laughter, and friendship always.
Mira's mom was my 3rd grade Sunday School Teacher at Temple Sinai. I remember her going to Camp Louise and winning "Miss Camp Louise" for being attractive and popular.
Years later I ended up banquet waitressing with her at the French Embassy in 1983/1984 where my boyfriend at the time hired us.
Myra was such a nice, lovely, beautiful girl both on the inside and out.
