OK.  How would you finish this sentence???

You know you're from Sioux City if: you can remember what Peter's Park use to be like. The street south of old East High was a one way street going south and a one way street going north with an island of ground with trees on it between the streets. The library grounds were dirt and grass. NO CONCRETE and other buildings ---only the library. Years back, Morningside Ave. had street car tracks running down the Ave. that we would put the front wheels on and let go of the steering wheel and let the tracks steer the car(if you went slow enough). Also, if you know where South Sioux City, Ne. is, you know you're from Sioux City.

You know you're from Sioux City, if after all these years you find an old suitcase up in the attic that is full of your old clothes that you packed away just before  you left home to join the Navy.  You open it up and the smell of the stock yards jumps out and hits you in the face.  Who could forget that smell..........

You know you're from Sioux City - - if after being away for years, head down to Pearl Street to get a hot dog before stopping at your family's homes. Been there - Done That
