This is National Teacher's Appreciation Week !  Who were your favorite teachers?  One of mine was Miss Helt,  my Algebra/Geometry teacher.  Never knew how much I loved Math until I had her.  Who was yours???

I will probably spell her name wrong and she will turn over in her grave. Miss Pollack (English) and Mr. Delzell (dean of boys) taught me it doesn't matter where you are from that you can succeed in school work if you put effort forth. I knew hard work would get you a lot of places, but I wasn't much on book learning until Mr. Delzell straightened me out and said he was going to give a teacher that would really help me, he gave me Miss Pollack.

I must tell you that my favorite teacher is my wife who is still teaching at Fremont High School. I am sure next year will be her last.
