Marilyn Marjorie Johnson, age 64 of Osceola, Nebraska, was called home to the Lord on January 26, 2008 following a battle with cancer.
A celebration of life memorial service was held Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola, Nebraska with Pastor Clifford Hoper officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg was in charge of arrangements.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Gregg, Osceola; daughter Robin Sedlacek, Allen, TX and husband Steve; daughter Jeni West, Bronson, IA and husband David; stepson Troy Johnson, Omaha; stepdaughter Kristine Tossie, Hutchinson, KS and husband Darrell; grandchildren: Derek Sedlacek, Honduras Cen. America, Bubba Sedlacek, Allen TX, Kelsey, Kami & Kylie West, Bronson, IA, Ben Wais & Tyler Kohout-Johnson, Omaha, NE and Sam, Miles & Weston Tossie, Hutchison, KS; sisters Pegge Johnson, Sioux City and Trudy Riva, Springfield, MO ; brother Bruce Scott, Sioux City; parents-in-law Dave & Helen Rutter, Osceola, NE, and Sally Foulk, New Port Richey, FL; sister-in-law Karen Emerson, Beatrice, NE and husband Larry; brother-in-law Steve Johnson, Osceola, NE & wife Paula; first husband & father of her children, Bob Foulk, Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Betty Scott.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Marilyn’s memory to St Paul Choir for project to be selected at a later date or to an organization or a charity of the donor’s choice.
