Brenda Lynn Noll-Norvell, 47 of Sioux City passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at a Sioux City hospital following a 16 year illness with Primary Biliary Disease.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Brenda was born October 12, 1970 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of David and Marilyn (Courtright) Noll. Brenda grew up in Sioux City and graduated from North High School in 1989. She graduated from Wayne State College in 1993 and received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of South Dakota in May, 1998.
Brenda had worked for the Stella Sanford Daycare Center, Holy Family Preschool, the Crittenton Center, South Dakota DHS, Center for Siouxland, H & R Block where she met her husband Chris and Eckerd. She was currently teaching at WIT and working at C.D. Norvell PC Tax & Accounting Service.
On April 24, 2008, Brenda married Chris Norvell in Sioux City.
Brenda loved to do volunteer work at Sioux City Parks and Recreation, Junior League, Leadership of Siouxland and the Chamber of Commerce.
Brenda is survived by her husband Chris Norvell of Sioux City; mother Marilyn Noll of Sioux City; dog Zac; sister Debra Manning of Mesa, AZ; brothers David Manning (Patricia) of Orchard Park, NY and Bryan Noll (Lisa Wise) of Sioux City; father and mother-in-law: Max and Ruth Norvell of Sioux City; brother-in-law: Steven Norvell (Julie) of Parker, SD; sister-in-law: Molly McIntosh (Shayne) of Parkston, SD; several nieces and nephews; uncle and aunt Gary (Barb) Courtright of Edwards, IL
Brenda was preceded in death by her father David Noll in 2016; grandparents Ronald and Eleanor Courtright, Harl and Mildred Noll; uncle Richard Noll; brother in law Matt Norvell and her 2 dogs Badge and Riley.
