Troy R. Dunn, 37, of Sioux City passed away Friday, June 19, 2009, at a local hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Troy was born Dec. 2, 1971, in Sioux City, the son of Paul and Carolyn Dunn. He graduated from North High School in 1989. Following high school, he obtained a degree from the Arizona Architecture Institute. He was a talented artist, builder and carpenter.
Survivors include his parents; his son, Josiah; Josiah's mother, Melissa; his sister, Cherrie (Dunn) Krayenhaggen and her husband, Barry, and their daughter, Katelyn, all of Sioux City. Also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, etc., who will all miss his easy-going personality and quiet wit.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob; his grandparents; and his beloved dog, Cody.
Pallbearers will be Chad Jensen, Greg Hansen Jr., Mark Rogers, Chris Railsback, Chad Smith and Jory Aarons. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Jensen, Tanya Jensen, Mick Johnson, Paul Crow, Teri Mathieson, Jody Burr, Terri Cowell, Carl Binneboese, Brandy Binneboese and Travis Hurni.
