I moved to Pelican in 1969 married and worked for the City of Pelican. I then moved from there in 1990 back to Sitka, went to work for Sitka Sound Seafoods and worked in their Yakutat Plant until 2002 when they closed it then back to Sitka and now here to stay. Live with my mother, and partner Frank. We live in my grandparents home, which we bought when my grandfather passed in 1999. We tore down the house in 2006 and rebuilt. My mother is in a wheelchair and our home is all handicap accessible. My daughter and grandkids live upstairs. Built a duplex.
