William A. Campbell, “Uncle Billy,” age 59, of Clayton, DE passed away in the arms of his loving care giver, his brother Mike Campbell, to join his father and both sets of grandparents on January 7, 2017.

He is the son of Janine S. Faulkner of Clayton and the late Byrl Campbell. He was born November 15, 1957 in Roswell, NM.

Billy graduated from Smyrna High School in 1977 where he played baseball and football. He loved sports.

Mr. Campbell worked for U.L. Harmon’s and Fletcher Plumbing and mowed yards. He could be seen walking or riding his lawn mower all over Clayton and Smyrna.

He is survived by his mother, Janine and step-father Robert Faulkner; brothers, Jeff and Michael (Krisy); step-brothers, Sean and Jason Faulkner; nephews, Mike and Jeff Campbell; nieces, Marcy Campbell, Sheri (Jake) Foster and Mindy (Richard) Christine; his great nephew, Jace Austin Foster; several step-nieces, step-nephews and extended Iowa family members.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11 am at Clayton Fire Hall, located at 300 East Street in Clayton.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all his caregivers at Seasons Hospice and his nurse, Virginia Gray.
