Jeff passed away December 24, 1978.  He was scheduled to visit me in St. Louis that year for New Years. He never showed up. When I called his family I was informed of the accident. Jeff was so sweet.  He was my first boyfriend and first kiss. I think of him often. His band had many practices in my basement. Whenever I hear the song "The Joker" I think it's him saying hello. I still miss him. He had become a dear friend and he absolutley adored his twin sisters. From what I understand he was on his way home from his friend Louie's with two huge stuffed animals for his sisters for Christmas. He struck a telephone pole, and hit his temple which killed him instantly.
