Hey Jim,
I have a 1996 Sportster, all black, with lowered shocks, due to me be vertically challenged, LOL. Brad gave it me for my 46th birthday. He had never been on a bike, bought himself a Softail, and we rode together for a few years, until he decided to retire from Harleys. I don't ride much but it is nice to get out there once in awhile just to know I can.

I want to say a great big “Thank you” to Joanne, Paula, Dana, Eileen and all the others who worked so hard on the reunion. You did a fantastic job and I had a great time. It was wonderful to see so many of my old classmates after all these years. Question: how come I look so old and ugly and all of you still look so good?

I loaded a bunch of reunion pictures out on my profile. I’m really sorry I didn’t get to talk to so many of you. And to those I did talk to, I’m sorry we didn’t have more time. The evening went by so fast!

Some of you asked, and others may be wondering, so for the record: no, I am not the Jeff Russell who used to pitch for the Red Sox, and yes, I am the Jeff Russell who ran against Hillary. I didn’t win. :-(

Many thanks to the reunion committee. The evening was wonderful and a great trip down memory lane. I am so glad I was able to attend and enjoyed re-connecting with everyone.

The effort of the committee to find classmates, plan the event and make sure everyone felt welcome and a part of a great class was truly remarkable.

For those classmates not able to attend the reunion, this website offers the same opportunity to re-establish old friendships, find out where people are and where they have been.

I hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity and honors the great efforts of the reunion committee.

Thanks for making this happen!

Gregg

RE: Madelyn Salgado

Has anyone talked to Madelyn since we graduated in 1968. Madelyn and I dated in High School and would be fun to get in touch with her again. Any Help would be appreciated.

How absolutely fun to read all of your comments & thoughts & wishes. Ordered a mini laptop to stay in touch with life "while in the skies" & will definitely read them more often. Maybe it's possible to get together when Jim Franco comes into town on the 21st? Sold my Harley..boohoo. Have a great visit.
The best of all new years to everyone in '09.

Just wanted to pass along my thoughts and sympathies to all those affected by the tragedy in Americana Terrace this past week. I read about it on Boston.com and again in our local Florida newspaper.

Paula mentioned some of our classmates didn't have access to our website due to computer issues. Might this help?

For those of us who do not have computers or are dealing with less than ideal systems, you might want to contact your local library. Many towns now have public computers for use by their residents. Usually they also have staff available who can walk you through any questions you may have at no cost to you. Hope this tidbbit helps someone.

Greetings!

Don't be alarmed guys' this is not a desperate third tier draft notice for surviving 60's era nearly able bodied men to man the barricades, unless Jimmy Franco re-ups again to fly choppers in bezerkestan or bumstuck Idaho!
When I first came back to the States after winning the 'Cold War' (or more like cold beer contests in Germany and Japan,) I felt really safe in the good ole US of A. Now I'm afraid to go out after dark, so a nice casual afternoon affair relatively close to home sounds great to me. Horseneck Beach and a BYOB cooler are good enough for me. Don't forget the copper tone or baby oil and iodine, got to work on that tan ladies. Also good to support the local economy these days you know!
I had such a good time at the 40th that I’m game for any venue, even the Big Mamie if its still there in 2013. Remember that one?
I do, by the way have a GPS on Preston and few would believe where he is as I speak. Ok, since not many will be twittering him there, its east of the Urals and north of Mongolia. Can you say Siberia? He went there a few yrs back and was actually invited back! Could a young lady be involved? I'll let him tell the rest. Oh, he took his dog along this time. Probably way more info than he wanted out but is anything secret today?
Hope all is well with everyone and on the serious side; I support the casual outdoor gathering anywhere best for the majority.
Hope Janet can tear away from work and/or the islands this time! Really though, I don't know of a harder worker, except for me.
Thanks again to JoAnne, Paula, Dana, Eileen, Agnes, Cindy and the rest of the last planning committee for he 40th and taking initiative to do a 45th.
I know where Booby Connors is hiding out too!
I'll do my best to get both of the rennaissance men there this time!
Anyone else you want me to track down? I did do my career in Air Force Intelligence, and as I've said before, we won the cold war regardless.

~WOW~ has everyone gone to sleep since Feb.  2010.......I keep waiting to read something new but there is no news!  So I will start...

Jack and I have joined the "elderly condo living"...except instead of downsizing, we moved into bigger living quarters, which is ok with me.  2 floors, loft, full basement and 2 1/2 baths.  I love it.  No grass to cut, no snow to shovel and plenty of room for the three grandbabies to rome.  And their parents, if they must come.  Hope everyone is having a great summer.  We choose this week to move, hottest ever, not to bright, but anxious to get settled.

Hello Everyone

I hope this email finds you well.  I was so sad to hear of the passing of Phil Godek.  Every time I think of him I see that great smile of his.  So sad and unexpected.  Phil, you will be missed.

I am contacting you to get your feedback regarding having a reunion in the summer of next year..  After our 40th, we sent out a message and at that time it was cear that many people wanted to have a summer reunion in our 45th year.  Well, the time is quickly approaching and I again want to be sure we have interest.  We have had two classmates offer their home so it would be a cookout at one of their homes.  The cost would be for the food and music if wanted.

Please email me back and let me know if you would plan on attending next summer and when in the summer would be the best time to have it.  Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Joanne

Yes I am interested ! Any week is fine except for July 4th week. Phil was an awesome person. Before I retired he came into my office at Verizon twice a year to check fire extinguishes. We would chat outside for at least an hour everytime. Always was smiling and never too busy! HHe spoke at lengthy about his great wife and son! He was so proud! He will be missed! :(

Class of 1968! Sorry I will not be able to attend our 45th reunion - I will be celebrating my 40yrs. of Marriage with Jim Lamond (Class of SHS 1966). My thanks to all who have worked so hard to organize the reunion & give us a way to keep in touch. I truly enjoyed the 40th and wish I could make this one, but we will be celerating our third grandchild's 2nd birthday, than taking the whole family on a cruise.

Hi Everyone,

I will be there on Saturday, with my sole mate Kimberly, she is so remarkable, more so even after 34 years.

We can't stay long because my sister, Bernice; who some of you may know, is celebrating her retirement.

Her party is in Somerset, on Riverside where we grew up; and many of our out-of-town family will be there.

So, Kim & I want to make sure we make time for both events, but we may have to leave early.

See you soon, Moe

"Hey, Senior Citizens"...Is anybody else getting their daily call from this guy who sounds like he should put the wine glass down?

At any rate, I updated my profile with a video of a motorcycle ride I took in Hell's Canyon (Oregon & Idaho)...and just left a quickie message, NO...NOT THAT KIND OF QUICKIE...that's ... quickie "MESSAGE"... for all you dirty elders!!!  On the vid..turn up the volume to David Allen Coe and BIG SCREEN that thing!

Anyway...hope life is treating you all well....If anybody sees Danny and Preston...tell they're looking old and need to get on the tradmill! LOL!

Adios...for another couple of years...I got bears to feed........

Dear Classmates,

I will be riding the PanMass Challenge, 162 mile route from Wellesley to Provincetown on August 5-6.  The PMC is a highly successful fund raiser (over 900 million dollars since inception) for the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center and the Boston Children's Hospital Pediatric Oncology Program.  Each bike rider is committed to raising at least $6000.  I have exceeded that goal, but if you would like to contribute, please go to www.pmc.org and click the red donate button. The next screen highlights in red "find a rider".  You may enter Bruce Casey Boulder, CO or my rider ID: BC0400. My profile page will pop up with links to make a donation.  If any of you are riding the PMC please let me know.  Also the ride will come through the Dighton-Rehoboth area on August 5 so please come out and cheer on the riders and celebrate a good cause.

Best Wishes to all of you,

Bruce Casey 303-550-8395 (cell)
