Allen passed away on October 12th after a long battle with multiple medical issues. I was informed of his passing by Jimmy De Cambra who has a close and careing relationship with Allens sister Sue. For a time Allen was being cared for at the same nursing home as Jimmys mother is in and Jimmy would visit Allen and try to keep his spirits up and keep Sue appraised of how he was doing as she lives in Florida.
Allen was a great guy who all ways had a smile and a heartfelt hello for everyone. He really enjoyed seeing old class mates and remembering days gone by.
Another Wilbur School alumni has passed on, just like the Wilbur School itself. Alan was always cheerful and upbeat and always glad to see his friends.
