Robert L. “Bob” Pedder, Jr., 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Medford surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Bob was born July 21, 1956 to Robert and Marjorie (Brown) Pedder in Fall River, MA. For the past sixteen years Bob worked for Greater Media Boston at which he held the position of Director of Sponsorship Sales, Business Development Manager and Director of Greater Media Marketing Group. Some of his major accomplishments were establishing an event menu for each of the Greater Boston Radio Stations, maintaining a brain storming program for each station, developing and installing the digital department for each station, including the creation of a functioning television department.

Bob had many passions besides his work. He loved spending his summers on the ocean, especially Wingaersheek Beach on the Annisquam River. There, Bob and Russ would spend weekends with their loving boxers, Casey and Toby.

As a spouse, son, brother, uncle and co-worker, Bob was always willing to give his time, advice and help to anyone he could. He provided support and motivation, mentoring or just served as a sounding board. He did this all with a passion that only Bob possessed. From his family to friends and co-workers, he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Bob is survived by his spouse Russell Kippen, his father Robert L. Pedder, Sr., of Titusville, FL a sister Wendy Montella and her husband Chris of Somerset, two nephews, Jonathan and Daniel Langfield, a niece Amanda Langfield. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Gerri Kippen of Gloucester, sisters-in-law, Cheri Ciaramitaro and Debbie Burns of Gloucester, and family, Frankie, Jaymee, Vito and his wife LeeAnne.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Monday evening from 4 through 8 and Tuesday evening from 4 through 6 concluding with a funeral service in the funeral home from 6- 8PM.
